twine
I've got a stationary sharp Minidisc-Recorder MD-R1 and a portable MZ NH900 from Sony.I want to record from analog MC to MD (in PCM).Is the A/D converter in the MD-R1 better than the one in the MZ NH900, so that I can use the MD-R1 to convert from analog to digital (without recording it to MD) and use my MZ-Nh900 to record in PCM from digital or analog output of the MD-R1 at the same time? Thanks for your answer. greenmachine
It's propably not worth the hassle, Sony have continuously refined their circuits over the years and reached a point of excellence, even in portable devices. I've never been disappointed with the quality of my recordings from analog sources and i'd consider my demands to be rather high.
