Hello,

Can anyone tell me if a RM-MC37lt, the AM/FM/TV/Weather remote standard on the 610 and 810 will work on the 520D? I had read that the AM ferrite antenna is built into the minidisc itself and not the remote, therefore this model remote would not work on the 520D. Someone else said that the AM antenna is built into the remote and it would work on any minidisc player that has a remote contoller standard.

Thanks for any help.

Welcome to MDCF!

This tuner remote is only functional with NF610 and NF810 and D-FJ787; cannot work (nor fit) in the remote jacks of other units. For further details, please review MDCF's A Guide To Sony LCD Remotes.

I own both the nf 610 and the NF520. The RCs are interchangeable but only the 610's RC (37) supports AM. AM using the 37 works on the 520. The RC that came with my 520 is the 34 model and does not support AM on either unit.

Hope this helps.
