montana
I have a question for the forum. I have a ton of mini disks (both regular and LP play) that were used while I was a radio DJ. I would like to transfer this information to CD. I know how to record onto the Mini Disk but am unaware of how to do the reverse. Is there a gadet I need to accomplish this or is there a simple way around this problem? Thanks, Codi.
bobt
Couple of options, you'll have to record in realtime through the line in on your computer, or you could find one of the older Phillips standalone cd recorders and burn straght to cd. Unfortunately no quick transfers. You could also get a hi-Md recorder and record them onto 1 gig discs then you could upload them and burn.Another thought, are there any recordind studios in your area that use MD, if so they may be able to do something for you.If I were me I would go newer unit and workfrom thereGood luck,Bob
atrain
what md unit do you have? & what is the format that the majorit of discs are recorded in - standard play? longplay?for the lp2 disks i'd recomend a piece of cheap software called winnmd http://winnmd.net/ however you must have both sonicstage installed on the PC & NetMD recorder.
