dyon Posted December 12, 2005 Report Share Posted December 12, 2005 Hi everibody, I am going to buy a A608 ( hopefuly) , i'm going to import from Engand ( i'm from portugal, they don't sell it here yet ).My question Is , does de Sonic Stage 3.3 works with the A608 ? All I have to do is connect the player into the SS, without having instaled de Connect player, and it will work ?Tank you for you're help. However, some of the new A series features will be unavailable when you employ SonicStage 3.3 with the A608. Please read this thread for further details. Have bought one at Pixmania uk, and it is out of stock at the moment but hopefully will get one before Xmas. I have instaled de SS 3.3, and have converted 2 CD's to ATRAC, and all is good, no probs. The instalation is a long and boring process. Te only problem I have got, is when SS is going to access de data base of the names of the musics online, and it crashes my SS. Because of that I have to write all the names music by "keybord" ... Please check your internet security..If Norton Internet Security Installed pl disable it while sonic stage ver3.3 is accessing online because Norton Internet Security interfere with sonic stage... They told me it was going to be in stock on the 16th today but now it is apparently out of stock and will nt be available until 10/01.06. Quite upsetting really. Meaning some stores asked for more from sony and recieved, while other stores under estimated demand and now have to wait for additional stock, almost like with the XBOX360 lol. Are sales of the new players that good in the UK?Sony Canada had the larger A3000 also out of stock for a 1 day, but then all good.Marylee, are you getting a bargain at this site you ordered from? Just asking.←I have paid nearly £139 with discounts etc from Pixmania. the only shop, I have seen it here is Comet and they are selling at £159. Yes, I did consider buying in the shop because of their customer service and if anything goes wrong you just take it back to the shop. I am a bit disappointed with Pixmania, their website should have the item waiting delilvery on the 16/12 and they cannot get it and now it is 10/01/06. I wll see how it goes and probably have to cancel with them. With Pixmania, you get another year warranty but have to send it to their Paris base. Wait till 10/01/06.......A608 has more memory & possible wma can be played after a firmware upgrade...←yes, I am, because it's a cristmas gift...and I have been waiting for it almost a month now...I was going to buy a NANO but gave up, because of it's "fragility" problems...then I turned to the E507, because it's very very good ( and its a SONY ) ...The problem for waiting for next year, is that, I dont know if it going to be avaiable on that day or not ...Where I live, Portugal, I called sony, and they said that it wasnt going to be realeased here....so I would allways have to import, and Pixmania or amazon is the only good stores I know better...Oh well...I wish it had come out already Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
