Looking for replacement player

I've so far gone through 3 MD players, the first one was defective, second one (MZ-R500) broke when it hit the floor while jumping down 10 feet (don't ask), and finally the one I currently have (MZ-N505) the audio jack is wiggin' out on my and the wires in the remote have come loose.

Simply put, I need a new player. I'm hoping to buy one used for under 120 USD.

I'm looking for a standard Net-MD player, simple line-in recording is something I'd like. The MZ-N505 was almost perfect for me, I'm hoping to find something like it but not sure what would be the best option at the moment.

What would be your suggestions?

How about a Hi-MD unit such as the MZ-NH600 or MZ-DH710? I think that either of those would fit within that price range if you look in the right places, and are compatible with your generation of MD and Hi-MD. The NH600 would probably be best as it's a little more friendly with older generation MD.

I'd recommend the MZ-NH600 as well. Bear in mind during your searching ashex that the MZ-NH600D doesn't have a line-in (USB only).

The NH-600D is a great choice as long as you plan to record using your computer with USB connector (windows only).

There is no line in or mic in on the NH-600D. It plays for a very long time on a single AA battery. It will play all existing formats of minidisc. It will not play mp3 files unless they are first converted to Sony format.

You can find the NH-600D for maybe $60 or $80 new on e-bay. I bought one for myself, one for my wife and one for my son! I use it to listen to music at the gym and at work.
