Octimon
Don't know if anyone can help but I have a problem with digital recordings from my CDP to MDMy understanding is that I can copy once in the digital domain from CD to MDI have hooked up my CDP (Simaudio Moon Equinox) to my MD (Sony MDS JB980) with a digital co-ax cable but it will not record. When I try, I get a copy protection error even thought the discs are not copy protected.Just wondered if anyone had any ideasMany thanks
Poodle
Is the CD copy protected? A lot of commercial CDs come already copy-proofed in the box when you buy them (though there should be a warning sticker on the jewel case). This contravenes the redbook standard for CDs, but there you have it... Otherwise all first generation CDs should be digitally copyable onto your deck. You can either just stick with analogue copying, or you may be able to make a copy from a PC burned CD-R copy....
