Hi guys. A couple of weeks ago I was shopping around online, and Froogle returned musiciansfriend.com as the best deal when it came to a 2nd gen Hi-MD. They list it as the RH710, but being suspicious it might be a typo or mistake, I decided to email them with specific questions making sure I asked if it was indeed an "R" unit and if it had a jack-in and not only USB.

So unless they are deliberately lying or simply re-reading what is listed on their website, you can get this unit for a low price unlike the other units. 150 dollars will make it yours. I still have my doubts, but decided to post this in case someone is looking for that unit in specific.

Now, the RH910 can be found for 162 plus shipping around froogle, so if you really can't afford to spend more than 150 and the shipping, give this a shot. EDIT: Musiciansfriend.com ships this for free via ground. Cool. (And no, I don't work for them.)

Just remember, that analog-in is a line input and needs a preamp. For another $12 (+ shipping), I would opt for the RH910 with the mic-in.
