bobt
You can upload, but it has to be in real time from the lineout to line in.Bob
KrazyIvan
I thought this limitation was removed with SS 3.2?
marcnet
Have you tried the "scan HI-MD" button (bottom left - next to the find buttons) on HIMDRenderer 0.5This gets the Atrac data from a HI-MD disc, creates an OMA file from that data and then can either copy the OMA to a desired location or convert that OMA into WAV/OGG/MP3/FLACIts a bit experimental though, although there is no risk of data loss. It will only work for audio tracks that originated from your PC. It wont work for recorded stuff

And i always use Simple burner to put them on my mds. Would be very handy to be able to upload them. I'll let ya know how it goes.

Shozzer
Marc please could you clarify: If the tracks were recorded on the computer and then downloaded to MD and then subsequently deleted off the computer, would the MD recognise the fact that they originated from that particular computer? fishstyc
Marc please could you clarify: If the tracks were recorded on the computer and then downloaded to MD and then subsequently deleted off the computer, would the MD recognise the fact that they originated from that particular computer? If they where recorded on that computer (WITH drm), and then transferred, you could copy them again to your harddisk, because the drm information is still in your library. If you recorded them without DRM (Sonicstage 3.2 or higher) OR you used Simpleburner, the drm-information is added during the upload of the files, and so this drm info doesn't exist in your library. You won't be able to play back these tracks when you copy them to your computer.
