SonicStage 3.3 will not format in Hi-MD mode

Just loaded Sonic Stage 3.3 from the full download - not with the internet installer.

It connot format in Hi-md mode - net md seems to be fine tho'- from the Device/Media Properties I select Hi-Md and then reply to the two are you sure you want to do this - formatting will rease the disk and I answer yes. The Mindidisk (NH600D) is active for about a second then stops but then all i get is the hour glass on screen and the Device/Media Properties box remains. The only way out is to use task manager and kill Sonic Stage - any advice?

You can format the disc on the unit itself. It if doesn't do it, then it's the recorder that's at fault.

Nope, it works fine with SonicStage 3.0 and 3.2 so the unit is fine!

Why did I upgrade - well SonicStage 3.0 and 3.2 locked up on me too often BUT I think I know what the problem is and I'now using SonicStage 3.0 just fine.

The solution: Be patient, I was loading SonicStage and then immediately it was onsscreen and had seemed to have finished loading the db and so on I started using it. Lock up . If you wait a few minutes (even tho' there is no hour glass) then it behaves!
