Hello, I've done a search but haven't really found what I'm looking for.

Please could people comment on good/bad/general features and compatibility of remote controls?

I have an interest in ones that work with a HD5 (the search engine wont allow a search of 'HD5' because it is only 3 letters, so sorry if this has already been discussed)

You can use Either remotes RM-MC40ELK or RM-MC35ELK with NW-HD5

Does the RM-MC38EL for Hi-MDs work with the NWA3000, or only the two you listed above?

Sony doesn`t recommened RM-MC38EL remote to be used with A3000 because it mIght work partially or it will not even work with A3000. Pdf manual of A3000 (page no 92)only stateS that either RM-MC35ELK or RM-SWS1 can be used
