doomlordis
I have a nh900 and it got a few minor scratches on the screen, i had some displex i used to clean up my mobiles lcd so i thought i would give it a go.I started polishing and after a short time noticed that the plastic over the screen was developing a "hole" , after closer inspection it became apparent that the screen has a layer of smokey material over it and the displex was removing it. I taped up around the screen and continued , after 5 minutes i had a crystal clear screen that i can read it in any light.I hated the fact it was hard to read the nh900 screen in anything but perfect conditions and this has solved this issue! KrazyIvan
so, do you think the smokey stuff was there to begin with or was it something that developed over time?

ozpeter
Under the right sort of light a coating can indeed be seen on the screen, but I suspect it is there for a reason, quite possibly scratch resistance. So removing it might not be a good scheme in the long run. Perhaps doomlordis will let us know how it looks in a month or two....
