Lint on the disc.

I was listening to a disc I've listened to before w/o problems & it just stopped playing.

No errors or recovery just stopped. So I skipped to the beginning of the track & it stopped @ the same place.

Pulled out the disc & slid the shutter open & a 1/8" piece of lint was right there.

Just blew it off, popped it back in the player & it was OK.

Never experienced that with any of my old MDs. Must've gotten into the player then into the disc.

Just sharing my experience & wondering if anyone else had experienced it too.

It happened to me once back in 1998. I thought something was wrong with my R50 :lol:. Now I try to keep the discs and recorders in the cases when not in use.
