alanspcs
Sonic stage 3.4 seems to be bringing me back to an interest in the HiMD.Questions about external mics/preamp: I have an old Sound devices MP2 preamp I'd like to feed into the MZ-M10 or M100 for eventual upload to an iBOOK, and I'm concerned about overloading the line level inputs. Any one have experience with external feeds, besides self powered mics? Kindly share. Also, I'm assuming that the Mac compatible players come with Sonic stage for Mac? or is that an extra purchase?TIA - alan
Roamer
I tried with an AD20 in the past, but it's more a question of properly ajusting the level on your specific preamp (and i don't have the MP2, maybe others can help. Plus mine actually outputs optical, so it's not the same type).Regarding the Mac compatible units, there is nothing like SonicStage for Mac, there is just an uploading tool for PCM only. So the only thing you can do on the Mac is uploading PCM recorded tracks with one of these two units. For the rest, you still must use Windows ...
