Question

Hey,

I'm from Holland and really thinking about buying a silver NW-A3000 (black isnt available in Holland). But since I've read about much problems with the software, Because of that, I'm really hesitating. Is the Connect Player really that bad, or do problems only occur at some people? I'm really wondering if the problems are really that bad, or if they were solved with the upgrade.

Thank you very much in advance for helping me out with advice. :)

Ruben from the Netherlands

The fact is you're going to get so many mixed results from the people on the board, it really won't be much help to you in deciding whether or not you want to buy it.

I would say buy it, if CONNECT works, fabulous. If it doesn't work, use SonicStage. I don't think anyone has had a positively NEGATIVE experience with the A3000+SonicStage combination, only the loss of some more "innovative" features of the player, like ArtistLink and whatever else.

It's a lovely player. Brilliant sound quality, it feels quite solid, aside from a few people who have noticed some slightly patchy build quality. It's pretty, and it's not an ipod.

Best of luck if you go ahead with your purchase.

thanks man :)

yes meanwhile I'm almost certain to buying one, I just figured this would give a more realistic overview of the problems with Connect player, since the people with no problems with CONNECT are less likely to post that on a forum in a thread, but should be so kind taking part of this poll..
