1kyle
Just had a 2nd RH10 delivered -- this one is for use in my studio for recording lectures etc (I give a lot of photography lectures etc).Got from Amazon UK at a really LOW (for the UK) price - I get the VAT back so the price was 129.23 GBP or 190.61 EUR.Even if you have to pay VAT @ 17.5% which adds another 23.58 GBP or 34.65 EUR on the price this to me is an incredible bargain. Here's part of the invoice http://www.1kyle.com/amazon.jpgActually anything I've bought from Amazon has always been good value and arrives on time.I wish I'd ordered another 2 or even 3 of them.Cheers-K Edited March 7, 2006 by 1kyle

I'm a little bit confused here. I wanted to buy from there bıut says ships only in UK.I see now. That unit is refurbished, and not Amazon's but a reseller's unit. 1kyle
Certainly doesn't look like a re-furbished one to me --boxes wrappings etc 100% perfect --- even if it were, and if I couldn't tell the difference between it and a brand new one it wouldn't matter. To get the VAT back in the UK is very simple providing you are running some sort of business. On Services and goods YOU supply to customers you add 17.5% VAT to their bill.On services and good you PAY for keep a note of the VAT you've paid on each transaction (even things like Petrol).Every 3 months you make a VAT decaration to HM Customs and Excise.YOU PAY the customs the VAT you've received / collected from your customers.YOU GET BACK the VAT you've paid for goods and services. You SEND to the HM customs and excise THE DIFFERENCE between what you've received from your customers and what you've paid for in VAT. If you've PAID more in VAT than you've RECEIVED then you'll get a REFUND (and it's usually paid pretty quickly --rare for a Governmnet organisation of any sort).Simple. For any more details see an accountant --but it's quite easily done (100% legally). Now you know why when you go into shops in the UK like PC World they often ask you at the check out tills if you would like a VAT receipt.Cheers-K Edited March 8, 2006 by 1kyle

I'm registered for VAT (Retail business) but I'd never dare to put a Mini Disc player through the business (although I think I put a CD burner through a couple of years back as I burn compilation CDs to play in the shop). The VAT inspector has the knack of finding those transactions you'd prefer him not to find.
