Skradgee
Welcome to the forums? You'll need a Hi-MD recorder to do this. Standard MDs can be formatted in Hi-MD mode to get more record time / storage space.

When I store files on a MD via SS it is possible to use HiMD or MD format.....
jaylen
Like Skradgee said, only if you have a Hi-MD recorder or downloader can you store files through SS using Hi-MD or standard MD format. If you plug a standard recorder/downloader into your computer, SS will only give you the option of NetMD (standard). Good luck!
