mnmleung
G'day, apart from using the T MARK button on my MZ-NH1 to add a track mark, is there another way (eg via SS34)? I would much rather do editing on my PC than on the unit. Thanks for any pointers. The Low Volta
I personally upload the recording to SS, convert to wav, edit in audacity (if needed) and note where the trackmarks should be, create cuesheet with trackmarks (a cuesheet keeps everything gapless, while really splitting often causes slight gaps)... but this is a bit of workI know SS offers the 'combine' function and I thought there was some sort of 'split tracks' function as well, but I haven't used it yet... record something unimportant and have a play with different strategies and see what works for you
KJ_Palmer
There are Divide and Combine functions under the Edit menu options in Sonicstage. They only work for ATRAC format tracks (not MP3/Wav etc.), and not while the track is playing.

Pity it does not show you how many seconds into the recording etc. I have not used Audacity, but have used GoldWave before.
