thejourneyman
Hello all.I've recently installed a SONY CDRW into a friends machine. Previously he had been using SonicStage to dump tune onto his SONY MP3 player(bean methinks). Anyway...The DELL machine did not want to play with the new burner (MUST clear Upper and Lower Filters on the DELL before it will be happy in this situation!) blah blah blahSo now the drive is recognized and seen in BIOS/Explorer...and by NERO and Win MEdia10. HOWEVER, SonicStage shows library to the left, and pane to the right says "no device or media.I have read through several of your forums and these are the only steps I've taken so far:* Upgraded from previous version (wife threw away notes. I think it was 3.2)to 3.4 (downloaded installer.* Un-installed NERO completelyHe has not checked if the software recognizes the MP3 player...but WHAT can I do for him on the burner issue!?!ANY help would be appreciated. Im just trying to make this 66 year old friend happy when he can't go golfing!

If you load a pre-recorded CD into it, can you rip the tracks?
