Hello people,

I recently had my mzrh10 stolen but my insurance company couldnt get me that model again so they offered me a worse model or an mzrh1 for which i had to pay extra. i was really excited about getting the mzrh1 but it has turned out to be a big disapointment for me. i hate the lack of- a decent screen which displays names, the scroll wheel, the group buttons on main unit, the AA battery pack expansion and the ability to line in analuge recordings from my pc. The only positive thing seems to be decent mp3 playback. i hear mzrh10 wasnt so good though right?

Basically im just wondering if any honest person on here would want to swap an mzrh10 for my week old mzrh1? please note the mzrh10 would have to be in EXCELENT condition. do any of you think i should stick with mz rh 1 and if so why?

Tim

I don't have a RH10, but depending on where you live, what I can do for you is buy your RH1 for a price which, believe me, will allow you to purchase any RH10 you want (and obviously you'll even have some extra cash after that). Let me know if you're interested.

You got that right! Everyone hear really disagrees with me as I think the rh1 is not special at all for the exact reasons you stated: small screen, no jog dial, can't display artists, no AA addon, etc.

I'm glad atleast someone agrees with me. I'd recommend you put the rh1 on ebay, you will definitely make OVER $300 for it, some people treat it as a godsend (when it really isn't that great at all for someone not needing to upload legacy tracks). Then you can pick up an RH10 on ebay for probably under $200 these days, you will make a nice profit. Good luck.

p.s. can someone please tell me, is it true that the mzrh10 has poor mp3 playback?

There is a bug in the mp3 playback on the rh10. But the average ear can't here it and if your concerned, then just have all music playback in atrac3plus. I convert all my mp3 files to Atrac3plus at 64kbps, holds 500 songs a disc and sounds great, no different than the original file. Conversion is a very simple process.

Norick,

I live in London UK. Your in France then?

Holy shit! My brother lives in London (his zip code is SE16 5XL), so no need to wire money and deal with shipment issues

I can EASILY arrange for you two to meet there in person and make the transaction as if it was me meeting you (and he pays cash). No problem. Just tell me 2 things: your price, and if I can still use the product warranty, despite the fact that it is YOUR unit (and how long that warranty is). Please keep me posted :)

Norick,

I will have to get back to you on the warrenty issue. I got the md player through my issurance company after my old on was stolen. i know it has the normal year warrenty but i think i will have to contact the company and ask them to give me some kind of receipt.

im still thinking about this though. despite its setbacks, it is such a sexy little thing!

Tim

in terms of price i think i would say £185 seeing as it is only 8 days old

Ok, sure np, take your time and think about it. Just keep me posted once you've made a decision (and about that warranty issue).

I'll take it for £185, no problem. And if that can help you make up your mind (considering a new RH10 model costs about 220/240 euros), I can even offer you £200 (if the unit is in tiptop shape)

(ps: you still have the original box, right?)

Hi Norick,

Even though it is a sexy little unit I've decided that I would like to sell it because in the long run i think a different model is more convienient for me. most importantly a model with a battery expansion pack. I will take some photos of it now so that yo may get a look. please let me know what your email address is and we can conduct this in a more private manner.

cheers,

Tim

Here is my address: Norick@Norick.cjb.net

I also sent you my details (email address, etc...) through private message. I'm obviously ok to make the transaction :)

Keep me posted

EDIT: I saw you might have received other private messages, but I hope we still have a "deal" :)
