rick brown
I am using a mz-m10. I have only recorded 4 sessions with it using the supplied mic. I am exporting to a mac so I am recording in PCM. Previous sessions worked great. Now, it won't record at all. I've checked all my settings and they appear to be correct. Battery is charged, Hi-MD is displayed, little balck square is there, PCM selected.I insert a blank disc, it displays the title screen which of course is empty.I hold the jog dial and press the record button and all it does is display "Blank Disc" and doesn't start recording. If I press the reocrd buttons again it displays "no track"Same issue occurs whether I am using a Hi-MD or MD 80 discAny ideas????ThanksRick
The Low Volta
you could always try to remove all power sources (including batteries) for a minute, then reinserting the battery and try again (this will reset the machine)also check whether the discs' write protection tab is on (though I doubt that)
rick brown
Thanks anyway, but mystery solved.SOMEbody was reversing the button 2 step. I had been holding down the jog wheel before hitting the record button AND WE ALL KNOW you hold down the record button before hitting the jog wheel. The Low Volta
something like that had come in mind actually... but as I only own the NH900 and RH1 which both use different rec-triggers (a slider) I was too uncertain about the RH10's procedure to say something about it from now on I'll try to give all options springing to mind no matter how rediculous
