Does anyone know of anywhere I can get a Hi-MD player online or offline for around £100?

I'm thinking of either 1 getting either 1 a HDD MP3 player or a backup (Secondary) Hi-MD player...

Thanks,

Of course! 100 pounds is equal to about $185USD and there are many HiMD units available for that price or lower. What are your needs? Do you need recording features? Are you looking for more of a player or recorder? I'd imagine that all units except the RH10, RH1, and NH1 would be available for under $185USD.

So your options would be:

MZ-NH600(D) $50-$80 - nh600 has usb and line in jacks, 600d ONLY has usb port, so if you need line in, avoid the 600d and get the 600. But if you need mic in as well, skip both models. Both use internal AA. 3 line lcd display.

MZ-NH700 $120-$150 - Much nicer design than 600(D), internal AA, has mic in and line in, and can function very well as both player and recorder. Can also be used with radio remote (purchased seperately). 3 line lcd display.

MZ-NHF800 - $150-$180 - Same as NH700 except is shipped with radio remote.

MZ-NH900 - $180-$190 - line in and mic in, HD digital amp for better sound quality, part aluminum casing as well. Does NOT use internal AA, takes gumstick battery + external AA, 3 line lcd display

MZ-RH910 - 2nd gen unit, mp3 playback, line in and mic in, gumstick battery, external AA, 5 line LCD display

Search ebay and check out http://minidisco.com. Good luck.

A recorder and player is good for me! :D

Thanks for that infomation...

I forget about Minidisco!

Harrow Audio has the MZ-NH600 for just under £100. They are a reputable company trading for many years to my knowledge(I live near Harrow); o.k., the 600 doesn't have any bells and whistles, but mine is permanently hooked up to my p.c. and does a great job. Here is the link: My Webpage
