Question

so i bougth the a--608 hoping for a really good underated player(compared to the ipod nano)..

i guess i was wrong, i got a horrible backround noise who makes a constant wwooooosssh sound..

is it only me who has this backround noise?

furthermore my not so beloved a-608 refuses to play one of my favourite songs.. i dont know why, the song(babayetu  ) is a MP3 file it has no protection, basicly it is a free song who is up for grabs at the composers home site... the song also plays well on my old iriver mp3 player..

i get the error, cannot play... why????

any ideas, on how to make it work?

well il guess il check the bitrate, but could that have anything to do with backround noise?

glad to hear that somnone else has this problem, its a pain in the ass when listening to calm songs.. and every song at low volumes, and of course its unacceptable on a player in this price range... i payed

2500nok, equal to around 370 usd....(prices are high in norway :P)

i use the standard headphones that comes with player.... but i have also tried with one other pair..still the fuzzling noise...

Also tell me what is the audio sampling frequency of the song that is not playing on your Player ?

i have no idea, but im gessing it is the wrong mpeg layer or something(cant rememeber the name), however, even if it is the wrong layer(or whatever it may be) its still really bad that a 370 usd mp3 player wont play it, when i 20 dollar player can... even my aging iriver does..
