I saw these minidisc blanks for sale on eBay, they look like they come from the Sony color collection (a non-U.S. version, I'm thinking?), but I have never seen these orange and silver ones. Can anyone identify them and if so, where they might be purchased?

Thanks in advance! B)

Good call. I'd also say Sony Color collection. The 2004 series has a Topaz Orange. And, just a thought, but maybe that "silver" one is actually the Onyx Black, but looks silver because of the photograph? Here are the Sony Color: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=11952. Those eBay discs seem to have a lot printed on their shutters, too. I think I see 74min on them? So, hmm, you got me (lol). Maybe they're an older version of the Sony Color?

You can find brand new, unopened 2004s on eBay. There are 3 US sellers who have them on auction pretty much every week. Good luck.

Thanks for your help, I was wondering about that silver one. I thought it could be the onyx, but that pic really makes it look almost silver. I can confirm they are 74 min. discs, I emailed the seller on eBay, but he didn't have the model number. I don't think the U.S. version ever included an orange disc, so they must be foreign. I'ma go check ebay right now. Thanks!

by the way if u want silver discs u can go for the sony 'neige', i doubt you eill get one on ebay but they have them at audiocubes. a uk etailer called digital-e also probably has the older version of the neige which isnt very different from the new one. If you want to see other kinds of discs you can also check out audiocubes.com
