imdurc
I was away from home with my NH900 unit and wanted to record a friend's gig. However, when I tried setting a recording up, it would only let me select the format I would record it in. There were no mic sens. or agc options or volume adjustments, which is weird because I had done it before. However, I have two NH900's and was out with the newer one.I'm back home now and have tested it and can't get the options up for finer recording adjustment. Then I used my older NH900 unit and found that all the options for finer adjustment were there! So, what's going on? Are there crippled units out there? I was not aware of this and was really disappointed when I couldn't get a recording done with my newer one. I bought another one SPECIFICALLY to record with. And it would've been a nice surprise to get her gig recorded. Is there a way to get all the options back? I've tried to access the service mode but with no success. Just to make sure, is the following the way to access that mode:FF - FF - RW - RW - FF - RW - FF - RW - Pause - Pause - - - ?Thanks,Adam.DAMN IT!!! Okay... even though I've had my older unit for 2 years, I still didn't realise that there was an advanced menu system option! Me feel dumb. Okay, all the options I know are there now. But I must admit, I'm still wondering about getting into that service mode. I want to uncap the volume thing as I did with my older unit. Can't seem to get into it. Hmm... The Low Volta
just follow the procedure explained under the 'uncapped thanks to MDCF'-link in my signature and remember, not I nor MDCF can take any responsibility for mistakes while in service mode, this is completey at your own risk
imdurc
Thanks for that. That guide was the best I've seen on here. All nicely laid out and easy to follow. All uncapped now and things sounding great as per usual!
