Cant hear a thing nwa3000

hi,

I own a nwa3000 since xmas, and I think it's great. But today I tried to listen to a song, and no music was produced. Very strange because the beeps, when you press play and stop, are still there. Even the ' now playing' displays im playing a song, The time bar advances etc. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

(I've had a problem in the past. It was an heavily distorded sound in 'headphone mode' , but it sorted out by itselve because suddenly it was gone. So i dont know what it was.)

Check Settings // Audio Output and see if "Headphone" is selected (it should be)

If you put it to Line Out it would sound really distorted through your headphones which is probably what happened before.

Don't know if this will sort your problem now but it's worth a try.

Listening through Headphone in line out mode would blast off your ears, hehe. Headphone mode it what u should be using, but when u had the problem which mode were u playing in?

Have you tried some other song with your A3000?Also Use some other headphone or Earphone & Then See.

Also I will not suggest you to Listen to songs in Line out mode for few seconds because it might damge your Headphones & As well as your EARS

Thanks for your advice but guess what, I left the player to rest for a night. And the next morning everything was ok! Just like the last time i had an 'audio problem'. Still I don't know what it was.

There's a volume limiter hack you can use to get the full blast outta ur dream machine.
