blind1st
Is it possible to use my Net MD player to record data? I'm having a problem in which I have old songs on my Minidisc, and I cannot retrieve them because they were not orignally recorded from my new computer. This problem is really bothering me. I have songs from discs that I cannot play, and the computer I used to use is back home, so i can't transfer back onto the computer. My hopes are that I can somehow get the minidisc player to act as a data transfer system and bypass this whole check-in check-out library hoopla. Furthermore, my minidisc player is not really working out as well as it once did, I travel a lot and keeping these discs on hand is getting pretty lame. I like the basic concept a lot, but portable hard drives of 60GB sort of crushed the technology. My poor poor minidisc player. KrazyIvan
netmd units cannot be used as data. Only HiMD. You would do well to upgrade to the latest Sonic Stage. It does away with all the check in check out garbage.
bobt
You would also do well to get a Hi-MD unit, some good prices on the older ones, or really treat yourself and get an RH1, you will really like the format thenBob
