celticflute
I have an opportunity to acquire cheaply a complete rig of the MDH-10 Portable MD-Data drive (vintage 1995). The only thing I'd have to add is a SCSI2 PC Card. The potential problem is that the orginal drivers are for DOS/Windows 3.1 (!!!) Does anyone know if the MDH-10 can be made to work under Windows 2000 Pro? I gather that Sony Deutschland used to maintain drivers for this thing, but they don't seem to anymore. Anyone here actually done this? If so, would you be willing to part with a copy of the drivers? Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance. (Of course, I could meet my needs very elegantly by purchasing a new MZ-RH1 recorder, but that is just too rich for me presently.)
viiv
Do you know about www.archive.org? Go there and enter the site for Sony Germany. See what archives they have. If you can get to the page where they maintained the drivers, click the link to download. Sometimes although they will remove the webpages, they some times leave the files on the server. If you are lucky and they still have the files on the server tyhan you are in luck!
