Sparda
I feel a bit dumb posting this since everybody probably already knows this but oh well. I have recently complained how you can't search for songs with out changing the current track. The simple way is to just buy a RM-MC40ELK remote, but i don't like that remote so i found out a way to do it on the RM-MC38EL. What you do is hold down the play mode button on the remote for a few seconds until you go into a menu, now you press the play button and search for the group the song is in, then you search for the song, and when you find that song you want to possibly play next, you just press the play button and it will automatically play it. Now the pupose of doing this is so you can browse through the songs you have without changing the current track, which i find annoying. And please do tell me if i am being redundant and there is an option to browse through songs without changing the current track. Anyways i hope this helps a person or two.ps, this should work on any remote with a play mode button.Update: if you are now in the song selection progress but decided to change the group simply press the stop button and you will be back at the group selection. Remember the song won't change to the one you want unless you press the play button, makes sense ehh? sector001
do u only want to search songs from the remote? cuz u can also search a song while the current one is playing by using the jog dial, well depending on which unit u have. i have the NH900 and NH600D. both of these allow me to search songs by using the jog dial on the unit.
