sebo66
I have recorded conversations on my MZ N710 which I want to download onto my PC to edit. Unfortunately sonic stage will not allow me to do this. I have been able to do this in the past easily using other (non sony)equipment. I have also tried using a line in cable to my PC from the headphone jack but this didn't work either. How do other people get their mic recordings onto their PC? I am confused. Thanks
greenmachine
despite their usb connection, net-md can't upload. what other non-sony equipment was able to upload? the analog transfer should work, take a look at the soundcard volume mixer [rec], make sure line-in is selected and the volume slider isn't turned down or deactivated otherwise. here's a link t describe the procedure:http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=7070
sebo66
Thank you for your help. I shall try again. The last time I did it I was using an HDD MD recorder and yes I remember it being recorded in real time through a sepparate player/recorer.
