well if the nwzs-738 is connectd to pc and charging and the power suddenly fails and the pc turns down does this thing might damage the player or not to worry abt this issue also can u tell me some shops in pakistan karachi where sony audio accesories orignal are avialable i got mine form usa but i m using it in pakistan and still there is load shedding problem here though i charge it night only to avoid electric shocks

Well,Player can be be damaged or Corrupted if your pc shuts off suddenly .

I hope you use UPS .

I don't think it would damage the player if the pc turned off, unless you are transfering over new files, which might corrupt the database or just not work in the player and the database would be fine.

Well ,I said from my past experience as ,It happened to me twice with my A806 (That time I wasn't transferring songs from pc to player ).I know its strange.

thing is, his model is drag and drop and no sonicstage whereas your's was with sonicstage and probably a bit different firmware for transfering.
