BIG QUESTION ABOUT NW-A3000

I have just bought a NW-A3000, but as soon as i try it on, i realized that there are no sound at al

Comming from the left ear phone, can anyone help me out with my problem? appreciate it

One additional info. I already checked the help from Canada web-site, it said if it problem with Mono or Stereo

headphone, the sound should come from Left, but... mine came from right.... the most funny thing is that.....

THE ORGINALY HEAD PHONE CAME FROM THE SAME BOX HAVE THAT PROBLEM

Have you tried other headphones? if not perhaps the ones that came with unit are busted?

also, go to the main menu, then settings, then output and check that it is set to headphone.

if other headphones do this, and the output is to headphones, perhaps your unit is busted and take it back to thesony store and show them the problem.

also is this with every song you have on it? even the samples?

Ok, I found this really funny.... the earphone that came with the mp3 player does work well..... .but............

the OLD earphone that came with my old MD playe worked on the unit. I have not tried Five different ear phone.

Three work, two doesn't ...... and the two that doesn't work worked perfectly on the on the other player

I have no idea what hte hell is going on now
