NW-A608; When is Charging Really Done?

Question

Ok, so I plug in my (battery completly drained) NW-A608 and let it charge. Let go around its merry way as I'm typing and notice it says it is done charging sometime between 1hour and 1 hour and 20 minutes since I plugged it in (since I can't remember exactly when I plugged it in). Now I know Sony says it takes I think 2 hours for a full charge. So my question is is it done charging when it says so or after two hours have passed?

Charging of battery depends on many factor such as how much your battery was drained (before charging),Room temperature ,Setting of power(500mA or )etc etc.

My fully drained battery of my E505 takes about 1:30 minutes to charge fully.

But if your walkman says "Done charging"that means that battery has been fully charged .

Just to add to what stuge said, if you have had your walkman for a long time the lithium battery can get out of sync with the meter telling you how much battery you have (this can happen with any device that uses a lithium battery) To rectify this all you have to do is fullly run down the battery then recharge it fully. Hope this helps.
