But you can record in PCM or HiSP, upload with SonicStage, and convert to mp3 if you want (with HiMDRenderer for example).On the other hand, you can transfer mp3s from the PC to an HiMD unit. greenmachine Posted November 11, 2006 Report Share Posted November 11, 2006 PCM (the highest quality setting will usually upload in approximately 2-3x realtime, the other compressed modes much faster. The latest model, the RH1 might be even a bit faster. Transfer is via USB, requiring to use a proprietary software called "SonicStage". Once it's uploaded and converted to a non-proprietary format (.wav), you can use any audio editor to convert to your destination format of choice.
