jeremy212
Hi, I have a MacBook running OS 10.4.8I'm using the MZ-NH900 Hi-MD miniDisc model and I just downloaded the Hi-MD Music Transfer ver 2.0 software.I'm trying to import the audio I have recorded from the miniDisc to my Mac. I'm running the minidisc in Hi-MD mode at HI-SP. When I connect the minidisc and boot the software, I can see all the tracks and rename them. But when I press "Import" nothing happens. Also, when I drag the tracks to my computer nothing happens. Is there a way to get this to work?I'm a musician and use the MD to record my rehearsals and concerts and it would save me HOURS if I could import faster than real time.thanks! The Low Volta
hi and welcome to MDCF... (a quick search would have learned you that) only the M-models (MZ-M10, M100, M200) and the RH1 offer mac-compatability. All, I repeat, ALL the other MD's, NetMD's, HiMD up to now do not offer mac-compatibility no matter what software you install...PS, as you have a macbook, just install a very light version of windows and run SonicStage... you will have upload abilities then and do not need to invest in a new PC or a new HiMD Edited February 4, 2007 by The Low Volta
raintheory
Mp3 compatible Hi-MD models (including the RH10 and RH910) are Mac-compatible as far as downloading to the unit. These units cannot upload though. The earlier NH*** models cannot do either uploading or downloading. As Volta stated, you need either the M100, M10, or RH1 to upload your recordings to Mac.
