yonafisher
Hi,I recorded a very important concert on my Sony MZ R 50, when the concert ended i noticed that the MD is still recording, i stoped the recording and i didn't notice if the MD did operate the TOC Saving/Closing.anyway, later, i tried to play the media and the MD wrote me (as you guess) "Blank Disk".i made a little research thru forums and i got the Sony MD Deck - MDS-JB940, i have also the manual and the service manual PDF,and i tried everything... It Doesn't work, i guess i don't realy know what to do exactly in the "service mode".I need your help,Sincerely,Oren.
Skradgee
Hi Oren,Welcome to the forums. You may have already come across this in your research, but here is the walk-through for restoring recordings using the TOC cloning process. A different model is used, but the process will be almost exactly the same. You will need a disc with one long track to be the source of the TOC to be cloned.http://www.minidisc.org/cloning_procedure.html
