kentek
Greetings all,I found what I think is a fairly decent audio editing software: Audacity. It is opensource freeware. You can download it at http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/.Additionally, there is a plug_in download with 90 different special effect plugins. And, there's more: you can also download a LAME software that allows your source to be converted to MP3.I personally downloaded the beta version. So far it seems stable. If I find a bug I will let the programmers know.I am not an expert on editing audio tracks but this program seems to offer a great deal of powerful tools. I hope I can figure it all out.I will ask my fellow Minidisc users to help me if I get totally stuck. So, take a look at Audacity. Runs on all platforms, installs easily and seems pretty cool. And, it's FREE!
