rayzray
yes;; after all these years with MD recorders and players;; i am CONVINCED that MD's are the MOST creative unit ever invented to create music,, ideas;; and just ball busting fun..now ,, not to many of yous use the MD in the way i do;; at least the more vocal of yous..they actually GIVE me "Ideas" and arrange for me;; and of course;; when i DJ'd;; they made me a STAR;; and blew away all the other "Regular" DJ's but;; everyone just figured i just bought some "Re-Mix" somewheres and that i was playing someone else's re-mix..i could actually re-mix a song "on-the-spot";; on the job in "Real TIme" too..as much as i hate Sony;; i love the MD units..for instance::i can take ANY song and cut/devide it up into a hundred parts;; but let's say 24 for now..then plan a series of chord progression just like a REAL band would for and intro;; the chord progression can be taken from ANY part of the song;; don't have to actually be "Next" to each other..then just randomly punch in random numbers in the "Program" if an MD-Deck and see/hear what happens;;some of my greatest re-mixes were just random picks;; and wrong programming;; but just sounded great..of course "Planned" programs are the "Kat's Meow" too..MD can "Act" just like a human;; a spontainious (sp) human..i wonder if planted into a "Robot";; can the robot's computer and MD live in harmony and "Create" great musical masterpieces??i am too old to for this;; so i just sit here and let my MD's create and give me ideas;; did yous think i really had all these brains myself?? if it wasn't for my 28 (now) MD units;; i probably would be an invalid in a local nursing home;; chasing the young nurses and doing musical chair rants with my 800 MD discs.. and THE special editing ones with 100 parts to a song..
