Question

Hey guys,

im just thinking about getting the NW 3000.

Thererfore I ve still some questions burning on my mind.

Ive read through several threads about the software problems, but I couldn`t get answers for these questions!

1. Get the ID3 Tags from my normal mp3 files (non atrac) copied properly?(Don`t want to type every Artist in ;-) )

2. Does the software (CP and SS ) change anything within my MP3 Folders on my computer?

3. Is it possible to stop during a song and continue it at the same position for instance 2 hours later?

4. Have there any user-programs been made to operate and tweak the player?

Thank you very much for your help!

Regards

Axel

Overall CP is an absolute knightmare. U can sse SS instead apparently - to add music files - and then only use CP to ensure additional functions work (see other thread in this forum - ie do not put any music in the CP library). Expect problems - trust me ! Sony MUST give CP priority - and messages like this might push the issue a bit....

Sorry that I didn't see this thread, but Miura get both sides of the story before trying CP.

CP isn't perfect, but I would recommend it over SS, since you have all the functions working, artist link may not always work, but you can find info why that is on the board here, so I won't go into that.

CP works like a charm for me, no problems, and transfers are a breeze, the files I add to my mp3 folder are automatically imported into the library every time I start up CP.

Try CP out, and see how it works for you, everyone has a difference experience with it.

CP does not change anything to your mp3 folders, why would it? the mp3 id tags will work fine, but remember to have all the info for it, year, genre, artist, song name, and album, otherwise you will not like what you see n the player info when you're playing a file.
