I've been looking around for a relatively cheap (used) 4-Track Cassette Recorder that has dedicated line-outs (one each for each of the 4 channels). I have an abundance of old 4-track cassette recordings that I have been itching to archive, but the only 4-track cassette recorder I have access to doesn't have dedicated outputs.

The dedicated outputs are a necessity as I need to have all 4 channels synchronized while creating a backup/archive.

If anyone has one they would be willing to sell, let me know and we can discuss details. Also if anyone comes across one for sale, please point me in the right direction.

Try and find an Old "Porta One " Or a Fostex X15 if you were in Jpan I could get you one cheap but the shipping would cost way more than the deck

Thanks, I've seen a few Fostex units periodically on eBay, but it's always been when I didn't immediately have the cash to pay for one. Will keep an eye out though. I'm in the states BTW.

I found one for you in the states on Craiglist , its in good shape but the guy wants a bit for it ( 175 ) offer him a Bill and explain how everything is digital now , I mention this model because it was a Very good deck , If you know what your doing with analouge you can get pretty deep with this one. It was THe Studio of the time, Bruce Springsteen did one of his albumns on its brother the 144 , This has the same guts only in a portable package
