raintheory
320kbps mp3s work fine on any mp3 compatible Hi-MD recorder. They sound especially great on the RH1 though (vs the 2nd gen recorders), for various reasons. To be safe, be sure they are 44.1kHzjust about any bitrate mp3 should work. CBR or VBR. Qwakrz
I use mainly VBR MP3's on my RH1, these have bitrates covering 32-320kbps.I have also played MP3's in 128, 192 and 320 kbps without problems (but prefer VBR due to size v quality, wish they did ATRAC VBR). Avrin
Actually, the RH1 also plays 48 kHz MP3s just fine. Very useful when ripping music from DVDs. Second-generation units only played 44.1 kHz.
