j-dawg
Recorder: Sony MZ-NH1Record Mode: Hi-SP, Auto Gain, Standard sens.Mic: Sony ECM-DS70P (terribly noisy! sorry about that)Guitar: Takamine EC-123CThe piece is my rendition of "Dee" by the late great Randy Rhoades. The performance is pretty rough, I was just practicing and I happened to nail a decent take. You can even hear the motor spin up at the end because I had the mic plugged right into the unit, LOL. Hope you like it!J-Dawg's Guitar Recording SampleI did add a bit of verb and delay in post production. I had planned on running it through a de-noiser and adding a little compression, but the noise floor is so dang high that any dynamics processing just sounded like crap. Anyways, if anyone was ever curious what a DS70P sounds like, I'd say this is a decent representation.
