Sony_Fan
So I decided to see if there was a difference in sound quality when transferring music to Hi-MD using Simple Burner (SB) and SonicStage 4.3. All music transferred was in Hi-SP. My initial impression is that music transferred using Simple Burner sounds more CD like than when transferred using SonicStage (SS). The music transferred using SS on the other hand, had a little more bass response, but not much. How did I come to this conclusion? I transferred a certain track to Hi-MD using SB 3 times. Then I transferred the same track using SS 3 times. I put my earphones on and played the tracks in random order. Each time, I would guess correctly which track was transferred using SB or SS. I put "SB" and "SS" in the title of the tracks to know which tracks are which but I didn't look at the display screen until after I made a guess. I know my method is probably not scientific and fool proof, but if anyone agrees or disagrees feel free to share your ideas.
pata2001
Well, simple burner presumably uses Sonicstage's codec to encode the tracks, so I don't see why they are different.
