  1. Hey, I know that I share an opinion with someone, but I assure you my name is not Chris, and I expect my vote to be counted like the rest of yours regardless if another member voted too many times.
  2. Wow guys, this community is harsh. Why is everyone being so mean to Sony_fan? This is the basis of capitalism which all of us endorse on a daily basis. If he puts hard work into finding items and researching them, and just displays them for sale it is only those who are interested in the item who determine what it is worth to them. Whenever I bid on an auction I make sure I know what it is worth both monetarily and also to myself, there is no coercion.
  3. From what I've seen on ebay and from what I have sold, the MZ-NH600D seems to be the cheapest Hi-MD recorder. I would check craigslist if you want to buy for $20-$30. If you are going to use Ebay, expect to pay $50 and above. I've sold 2 of these recorders on ebay for an average of $90 each. Hope that helps.
  4. I'm not the only ebay seller who is a member of this forum. There are many others.
  5. I'm sorry, but I think they are doing this simply out of spite because either I won't sell to them on Ebay or I have them blocked or I won't sell cheap on this forum. It takes a lot of time to search craigslist for MD or Hi-MD items that are sold for very little. If you want to buy MD or Hi-MD items for low prices, then search craigslist yourself. I've already explained how I search, to help some of you guys. But if you're not willing to do the work and search, don't expect others to search for you and then sell to you for cheap.
  6. And not everyone shares yours. Wow, you even blocked me from reporting you to the other moderators. Its ok, I'll report you using other accounts.
  7. Richard, are ebay links in our signature allowed? There are no rules against that yet the moderator keeps deleting my signature. He is upset that I blocked him on ebay and I wont sell to him. This a personal attack on me.
  8. I think ebay listings of any kind should go in separate 3rd party listing section, this includes ebay listings, amazon, craigslist or interesting finds.
  9. Good, we need 3rd party listings section, free from moderator abuse.
  10. The OP quoted me a price of $135 shipped for this minidisc. Must be really rare.
  11. I recently purchased michael jackson minidisc album "blood on the dance floor" on ebay for less than $10 (including shipping). Good deal!
  12. An old jean claude vandam movie, "timecop" shows a pre-recorded MD being inserted into a player.
  13. Put them on ebay if you never plan to use the. Thats what I do with my rare MDs.
  14. If these rare MDs are not worth it, then why are the bids going so high? The market determines what they are worth.
  15. I like your signature. Just curious, why are the EH series hi-md players more than some of the recorders?
  16. Wow, tdk pro minidisc is @ $32 and md2000 minidisc is at $41. These must be rare!
  17. No, I'm sure you're not a scammer, but that's not what I was referring to. I buy my stuff from craigslist in the United States, and I look for really cheap MD sales. If it's something that I can sell for more on ebay, I will buy it. This is a hobby, for extra cash. I'm the only working in my home. Honestly, I have come on this forum and explained a couple of times how you guys can search craigslist and search for really good MD sales, whether you want to sell for more or just keep. I don't ship internationally, so I block all non-U.S. paypal accounts to discourage them from buying. In order for me to accept payments from international buyers who have U.S. shipping addresses, I would have to change the restrictions on my paypal account. I don't want to do that, because at that point any international buyer can send me payment, and then it's too long of a process to get the transaction canceled. So I block all international payments, even with U.S. shipping addresses.
  18. Ask if he will ship to you. Ive had people on craigslist nationwide ship me stuff.
  19. The moderators have allowed the use of the Classified sections to either advertise on this forum, or point to a listing on ebay, even if it's not the OP's auction or listing. Other forums have a section where you can post about third-party sales (stuff for sale on ebay or amazon, etc..). Maybe that's what this forum needs. I would gladly post in that section. There have a been a couple of forum members here who for some reason, bought some of my items directly through ebay, even though they could have asked me to sell to them directly through this forum, but they didn't. Many buyers will prefer to buy through ebay because they have the buyer-protection.
  20. Hi Danny. I don't mean any disrespect to international buyers. But I sell on ebay as a hobby, it is not how I make my living. I like to keep things simple. In order for Ebay to protect me against fraudulent international buyers, Ebay requires me to ship with tracking number and insurance, and therefor the shipping service I would use would charge more for that. This makes the shipping cost way too high for the international buyer, and many of them do not want to pay that, and therefore they do not want to buy my items. It's cheaper for me to ship to United States buyers because shipping, tracking and insurance (if needed) is cheaper for me and the buyer. I can also print my shipping labels at home, package the items, and drop them off at the mailbox. I don't have to go into the post office to do that. I don't have time for that, and with international shipments, I have to go to the post office to fill out the paper work, and I don't want to deal with that. So simply put, I don't want to deal with international scammers, lost packages, broken items or fraudulent "item not as described" claims. I can better protect myself against these things in the United States because it's cheaper for me to track and insure the items or get signature confirmation. I know there are alot of honest international ebay users, but I choose for myself, to deal locally in the United States.
  21. Sorry danny. I posted in the classifieds instead. Yes, most of the minidisc stuff I've ever bought does get sold for extra cash. There a few things I keep though.

  24. Seoscuba, are you serious about the Sony MD2000 discs? I have 5 of those, but I will sell separately. I wanted to know the value of the HHB professional MiniDiscs and if they are special. Maybe $5 each one???
