so far there have been over 70 aftershocks , the news on the net , that is in English is all messed up ,

It is really bad up there , cracks in the ground that could swallow a house ,whole cliffsides gone , trains derailed , the size of the after shocks are substanial as well 5.8's 4.2 , 6. 0 a lot of smaller ones but several big ones ,

It is on the other side of Japn from here but we felt it . then last night a good one on our side shook the whole house.

Update the one we felt last night just after midnight was not on our side , it was just 100 miles south of the original but strong enough that it shook the crap out of us , current estimates was another 6.8 just off the coast on the Japan sea side. Now it is raining really hard on top of all that .

The seismological institute is saying there are going to be a lot of aftershocks with this one , because of the linear distribution of the forces in the plates , and they are going to happen up and down the coast , we are in for a rough ride. Several days worth

The Yokohama area is fine , just Niigata is having a hard time of it , now the heat is bearing down on them , and the old people especially are having a rough go of it .

The US Troops sent 200 Airconditioners and generators to run them , as well as the Japanese from all over are now sending food fans , water and other needed things, NTT set up a call in number for Japan residents that they call this number from a home phone and get billed 150 yen for each call the money goes to releif funds ( Inudated with calls ) but they are having to helicopter stuff in , because of the roads .
