AJUK
I would like to rip the audio from live DVDs I own so that I can copy them onto my iPod for my own personal use, can anybody recommend any freeware for this?
pata2001
What kind of DVD is it?1. If it's DVD-audio, there's no way to rip it digitally. All you can do is to record it via analog from your DVD-audio player to a PC analog-in or MD analog-in. Record it to WAV or PCM.2. If the DVD has a DVD-video content, you can rip it using any DVD-ripper, and convert the dolby digital track to sound format of your choice. Unfortunately, ripping a commercial DVD is illegal per the DMCA. Google is your friend.
