phuongphantran Posted August 12, 2007 Report Share Posted August 12, 2007 I am writing from Senegal, Africa where when something doesn't work, there is no place to fix it. I am a radio reporter, have used my Sony MZ-RH1 for 9 months and 2 days ago it suddenly stopped recording. Have checked everything and can't seem to figure out why it suddenly died. I am losing hope of getting it to ever record again, but I am curious why it died such a sudden death, and has this happened to anyone out there? Strungup Posted August 12, 2007 Report Share Posted August 12, 2007 As a reporter , you were probably using it everyday right? , and what is the Climate like in Senegal ? A Lot of Moisture ? Extremely dry ?Heat etc. a Lot of bouncing , hard weather climates , combine with daily abuse ( not said in a bad way ) of that type of work , might have something to do with it .
