Im new to this forum, as well as I'm new to mp3 players, so try to bare w/ me. Yesterday i bought a Sony MP3 Walkman (model nw-e507) and read through the instructions....and I thought I knew what I was doin. So I plugged it in the computer through the usb cord and let it sit there for almost an hour and a half(b/c I thought it was charging). So then, I tried transferring a few songs to it through SonicStage and it said some of them transferrred and some didnt...now thats not my problem. The problem is this: So I unplug the player and all that shows up on the led screen is a picture of a battery and the word FULL written next to it. I pushed every button, extended the shuttle, and pushed every button as well. I even reset it, but nothing will get this picture away. I even plugged it back in and when I plug it in it has the same picture and it says USB Connect underneath it, and if I try transferring songs, the progression bar shows up. But still, whenever I unplug it, the picture of the battery w/ full still shows up and wont go away. I got online and download the newest firmware and while that installed everything looked good...it would read 'checking program' 'erasing program' and 'writing program' and then it would say it was succesful, but whenever I unplug it, I still cant get that picture off. Its got me so frustrated, and I dont know if its me, or it, but I have a feeling that its messed up. Plz hep. Thx.
