sector001
there was a couple of Sony VAIO PC's that came with a NetMD drive in it. had i waited a little while longer, i would've bought one of those PC's with the MD drive in it. instead i opted for the dvd recorder.http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model-hom...amp;region_id=1 Edited September 26, 2007 by sector001

raintheory
thanks.in that case, how do i transfer files to PC?http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=7070I don;t think it was possible with internal MiniDisc drives. I think they were mostly designed for MD-DATA discs, except the VAIO drives that were probably NetMD, which is 1-way anyway PC>MD Edited September 27, 2007 by raintheory
Strungup
You need an RH1 or M200 to transfer to PC , those are portables , but they are USB , and Work with Macintosh as well , actually probably easier with Mac , the Sofware footprint is small , with no extra bells an whistles to get in the way . All HiMD formated files come in as WAV to the Mac
