I can transfer the files to my laptop. What I can't do is get the files into a specific audio editor. I'm a broadcast journalism student and Must use a program called NewsRoom 4. I've been told the files must be 32 000 bits, and mono files. The Newsroom4 audio editor will not accept the sound files as I have them configured. The sonicstage files will not transfer to the audio editor without a "Err, Invalid WAV Format." In Audacity you can Resample the file or "Save As" and select bit rate . and Mono or Stereo settings , spend some time learning Audacity . Go thru the help files and tutorials , also online at Audacity's site tips and trix . After resample you can then place the file in Newsroom . and it should work fine.
