Difference between RH1 and M200?

What is the difference? Where do they still sell them? Is Sony planning on discontinuing SonicStage as well? What recorder alternatives are there for live music?

The difference is the M200 comes with a bundled microphone and says "MZ-M200" instead of "MZ-RH1"

The units themselves are identical.

SonicStage is supposed to be around for awhile. Get 4.2 now (or 4.3 for Vista) and hold on to the full program for future use.

Edirol R09, Zoom H2, M-Audio Microtrack and the old iRiver H120 and H140 can be used for live music, and there are probably other gadgets too. They're not minidisc and have their own advantages and disadvantages. I still hold out hope that by the time my last minidisc recorder expires, someone will have figured out the ultimate flash recorder.

I don't recall ever getting an MD recorder to actually expire - and I have the first model onwards! So perhaps by the time yours totally dies we'll have implanted recorders feeding right into the brain and today's flash recorders will seem a bit primitive.
